Moving to Uniport

Drop a folder or a zip on Uniport and your files move in, folders and all.

Move your files in

Files are encrypted on your device before they upload.

From Google Drive

  1. Go to Google Takeout, choose Deselect all, then tick Drive.

  2. Choose Next step, then Create export. Google emails you when it’s ready.

  3. Download the zip and drop it on Uniport.

Google Docs, Sheets and Slides arrive as Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. A big Drive comes as several zips: drop them all at once.

From iCloud Drive

  1. On a Mac, open iCloud Drive in Finder. A folder with a cloud icon is only in iCloud: Control-click it and choose Download Now.

  2. Drag the folder onto Uniport.

On Windows, open iCloud Drive in File Explorer, right-click the folder and choose Always keep on this device, then drag it onto Uniport.

Pages and Numbers files are kept as files. To edit them in Uniport, export them from Pages or Numbers as Word or Excel first.

From Dropbox or OneDrive

  1. On the website, choose the folder and Download. It arrives as a zip.

  2. Drop the zip on Uniport.

If the folder is already on your computer, drag it from Finder or File Explorer instead.
